Happy Saturday everyone. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.
I decided to do a different artsy-craftsy activity with my little one today. Usually it's a case of putting on her water-proof playsuit, dragging her mini-table into the non-carpeted area, giving her some water, paintbrush and a paint palette and letting her get on with "painting" (make a mess).
I thought I'd get her to make her own thank-you cards for family who spoilt her on her birthday. "It'll be fun" they said. Crafting with a 4 year old is a next level crazy: she’s easily distracted and constantly curious. “Mummy, what does this do?” Whilst holding the guillotine (okay, I'm just kidding about the guillotine part!)
We ended up making one card - a spinner card! She was absolutely amazed by the spinner (and I was amazed that she was actually able to turn the handle for the die cutting machine by herself!) So I guess one family member will get a card from her whereas I’ll be making everyone else's card in the next week or so.
Check out the instagram post to see the spinner card in action.
