Triangle Criss Cross Butterfly Card
Hi Everyone!
I've had a somewhat chaotic start to the week and it's been nice to settle down with some relaxing crafting for the last couple of days. Today I've got this funky triangular shaped card to share with you (I have no idea what the official name of this kind of card is...)
I saw this card on one of the groups on Facebook. I was unsure whether a 6"x6" base card would fit in a corresponding envelope so I decided to use a smaller base of 5x5". I think even a 5½" square base would have been fine too.

To make the card:
Card base: 10x5 (scored at 5")
Measure the centre point of the edge opposite the creased edge
Make 2 cuts from the centre point to the opposite edges along the crease
DSP: 4¾" square puece
Do the same: measure the centre point along the edge and make two cuts from this centre point to the opposite edges
DSP inside: 4¾" square piece
Layer up DSP to the card bases and arrange the two triangles evenly to create the funky triangle shape, you'll need to eyeball this as best as you can.
Decorate and embellish.
For the DSP I've used "Butterfly Bijou" and "Oh So Ombre" which are no longer available but just substitute this for something of your choice.
Hope you enjoyed this project, and if you do shop with me remeber to add the host code so I can send you a hand made card and some treats for you to enjoy. You'll find the host code towards the top right. Thank you and see you soon x
